We invite you to our cosy Teepee by the lake, where you get to cook snacks by the fire, maybe meet and greet other travellers and enjoy some warm juice and traditional finnish winter drink called glögi
New Year Gala
On New Years eve, we welcome the New Year with a festive gala dinner, traditional tin-casting and a memorable midnight celebration with a party DJ and fireworks.
Concert at Kuhmo Arts Centre
On the first day of the New Year, immerse yourself in culture in one of Finland’s most beautiful concert halls
Enjoy the snow
Freely try out our sleds and toboggans on the hill or kick sleds on the ice, or take part in our guided Snow fun games, where you can enjoy the simple joys of our winter wonderland
Relax like a true Fin
Unwind in the soothing warmth of an authentic Finnish smoke sauna and embrace a cherished local tradition. Smoke-sauna is the traditional, ancient type of Finnish sauna: Wood is burned in a large stove for several hours, allowing the smoke to fill the room and escape only through a small hatch and the door. Once the fire dies down, the smoke is cleared out, leaving behind a deeply relaxing room with a distinct aroma of birch wood and tar.

- Return transfers from Kajaani Airport (from Kuopio Airport +50€/person extra fee)
- Daily evening sauna and use of indoor and outdoor jacuzzis

- Also wellbeing treatments are available: worth trying is definitely our peat sauna and traditional Finnish bone setting. After these two try also herbal jacuzzi and classical massage.
