Itinerary
DAILY: breakfast, dinner, evening saunas with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis
30.12. ARRIVAL DAY
Transfer from Kajaani/Kuopio airport to Hotel Kalevala, check in. Settle into the cozy atmosphere of Hotel Kalevala and prepare for a New Year celebration.
Welcome drink & dinner at the restaurant.
31.12. NEW YEARS EVE
After breakfast you can engage in fun snow games and friendly competitions: On these playful competitions you need co-opearation
skills, imagination and lots of joy.
After lunch, there is free time to either enjoy the surrounding nature at your own pace or participate in an optional activity, such as snowmobiling, a guided snowshoe tour, or exciting whitewater
rafting. You can also visit the center of Kuhmo, where you can shop in local stores.
In the evening, it’s time for New Year’s celebrations, where we’ll enjoy a gala dinner, admire fireworks and dance into 2027. You can also try to predict the coming year and try a Finnish tin casting tradition.
1.1. NATURE AND MUSIC
We’ll start the new year with a leisurely and delicious New Year’s brunch.
After brunch, there is free time to relax or participate in an optional activities.
In the evening we will take a bus to the local wonderful cultural center, Kuhmo Hall, to enjoy the New Year’s concert.
2.1. TIME FOR LEISURE AND SMOKE SAUNA
Second day of the year offers you time to spend in winter nature or stay comfortably in front of the fireplace at the hotel. If you want to experience more, You can choose from several optional activities.
In the evening you can experience an unforgettable, traditional Finnish smoke sauna experience.
3.1. GOOD BYE FINLAND
Time to say goodbye to a magical Arctic experience and take home cherished memories.
Transfer back to Kajaani airport.

- Also wellbeing treatments are available: worth trying is definitely our peat sauna and traditional Finnish bone setting. After these two try also herbal jacuzzi and classical massage.
