Arctic rush – Experience the Best of Finnish Winter

Experience the magic of a Finnish winter: Race through snow-covered forests with a team of eager huskies, explore the frozen wilderness by snowmobile, try your luck at winter fishing, and unwind in a steaming hot tub under the Nordic stars.

During this four-day winter trip, you’ll experience exciting outdoor adventures. You’ll stay in our cozy, family-run hotel, idyllically situated on a frozen lake and surrounded by pristine forests. Enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning, relax after your activities in the warmth of a traditional Finnish sauna, unwind in the indoor or outdoor hot tub, and end the day by a crackling fireplace.

DAY 1: Arrival

DAY 2: Huskies and Snowmobiles

On this activity day, you’ll travel to a husky farm for a 2-3 hour snowmobile safari through silent, snow-covered forests and frozen landscapes.

After the safari, you’ll have lunch at the camp before meeting the huskies and getting to know the camp. Then, you’ll embark on a 6 km husky tour. Enjoy the activities and the peaceful beauty of the Arctic wilderness.

Upon returning to the hotel, you’ll have some time for a coffee or a drink by the fireplace before relaxing in the evening sauna.

DAY 3: Ice Fishing

Today is more relaxed. You’ll go fishing! You’ll snowshoe to a frozen lake. There, you’ll drill a hole in the ice, sit on a stool, and fish. Surrounded by the tranquility of nature, you can let your thoughts wander, find peace, and become one with the beautiful winter landscape. The Finns love ice fishing. It is said that this winter activity, among many others, contributes to the Finns being considered the happiest people in the world for years.

Our chefs will prepare your catch for dinner.

In the afternoon, you will have some free time for optional activities or wellness treatments.

With a bit of luck, you might be able to see the Northern Lights directly from our hotel in the evening. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this. Nature itself determines what happens and when.

DAY 4: Farewell
After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
