The leisurely pace makes this tour ideal for all levels — with refreshing juice and a tasty snack served during a relaxing break.
Life in Bearlands – Extended Nature Tour & Home Visit:
Spend a full day living like a local Finn in the wilds of Kuhmo. Your adventure begins outdoors – kayaking across the calm waters of Lake Lammasjärvi and trying your luck with fishing as generations have done before. As the day winds down, you’ll gather with your host to prepare a traditional meal and dessert, cooked in a rustic wooden cabin hidden in the forest. Sharing food, stories, and laughter, you’ll feel part of the local rhythm of life, far from the noise of the modern world.
Finnish Peat Sauna:
Sink into one of Finland’s most unique wellness traditions. In the warm, gentle heat of the sauna, your body is covered with a mineral-rich peat mask — a natural treatment that leaves skin soft, glowing, and renewed.
