Itinerary
DAILY: breakfast, dinner, evening saunas with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis
23.12. ARRIVAL DAY
Arrival to Kajaani airport. Elf transfer to Hotel Kalevala
Welcome drink & dinner at the restaurant.
24.12. CHRISTMAS EVE
Christmas Eve begins with a trip to the snowy forest, where we pick a Christmas tree and decorate it together. Then we enjoy Christmas rice porridge with an almond hidden in it (good luck to the one who
finds the hidden almond).
In the afternoon, it is possible to visit a cemetery, where you can remember and light a candle for your loved ones who are not here.
Christmas Eve is an important day for Finnish children, because that is when Santa Claus visits and we open presents. The evening program also includes a traditional Finnish Christmas meal and, of
course, a Christmas sauna.
25.12. CHRISTMAS DAY
On a Christmas day can choose optional activities, focus on outdoor activities in the winter nature or just relax.
We end the day with an unforgettable evening under the stars, enjoying a campfire picnic while hoping for a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Guide will tell you local stories and we enjoy crepes baked over
a campfire.
26.12. BOXING DAY
Boxing Day starts after breakfast with traditional reindeer-, horse- and husky ride tasters.
For this day you can choose optional activities or you can spend the day outdoors and relaxing.
In the evening we enjoy the warmth of the smoke sauna.
27.12. GOOD BYE FINLAND
Say goodbye to a days of unforgettable memories and depart with the spirit of Finnish Christmas in your heart.

- Also wellbeing treatments are available: worth trying is definitely our peat sauna and traditional Finnish bone setting. After these two try also herbal jacuzzi and classical massage.
