Experience the legendary Lake Lentua — a vast wilderness lake surrounded by islands, sandy shores and ancient forests. Together with a local guide, You’ll paddle between the islands, freely choosing our route depending on weather and wildlife activity.
Lentua is home to many wild forest reindeer during summer, and with a bit of luck, you might spot them along the shores or even swimming between the islands. Along the way you’ll take a break at a campfire site, where you can enjoy a light lunch and coffee prepared over open fire. (In case of wildfire alert alternative option)
There’s also time for a refreshing swim on one of the lake’s beautiful sandy beaches. Spend an unforgettable summer day exploring Kuhmo’s wild nature — this is our favourite way to spend a summer day!
